We provide I.T, engineering and graphical solutions to the photography, agricultural, manufacturing, education and marketing industries. We believe in being flexible to meet our different clients’ needs.

We approach each client’s problem with a good deal of thought and listening. We’re not into cookie-cutter solutions by squeezing every one into the same box. If we feel that your problem can be solved with some off-the-shelf product – we won’t hesitate to recommend it and save you some money. At the same time, if the solution you’re looking for requires custom retro-fitting, or building it from the ground up – then we have the skills and experience to manage that.

Photography and photoSentinel™

We’re excited about our new flagship photoSentinel™ time-lapse system – it’s a remote 3G and Solar powered time-lapse photography system that’s already been used in situations ranging from the City of Melbourne’s Moomba Festival, monitoring construction sites and being used for creative photography and videos by landscape and wedding photographers. We’ve developed a range of systems for our photography clients over the years. Solutions have included involved creating photographic user IDs and barcodes used in school photography systems, as well as streamlining school and business events. We’ve made a custom school attendance management system used in both private and schools in New South Wales, with photographic student ID cards, attendance sheets with barcode and on-demand printing of certificates or late passes, complementing data tracking features for whole school populations. The attendance management system also provides an optional parent SMS notification system.

Art photographers have also commissioned custom engineering solutions. We’ve built a programmable slit photography system for an photographer who wanted to explore more elaborate, filmic ways to view the world.

Environmental capture, visualisations & geo-data solutions

Our strengths in physical engineering have resulted in a range of products that specialise in capturing environmental data, geo-data and visualising the information in a range of useful ways.

Our omniSentinel® product is a stand-alone waterproof telemetry solution designed to quickly transport data from a wide variety of sensors to your fingertips. Connect up to three sensors to a single unit in the field and access data via SMS, email, desktop or mobile device solutions. The omniSentinel™ allow the agricultural and scientific industries to easily sample local environment metrics such as soil moisture, salinity, rainfall, temperature, flow and vibration etc, or monitor a range of farm equipment including silos, milk vats, water tanks and dams.

The omniSentinel® Tracker is a self-powered GPS tracking device which enables you to keep tabs on expensive asset from any web browser. View mapped locations of your assets over time – track and visualise their movement from recorded histories.

omniSentinel® Visualiser integrates a digital camera with field sensors to monitor carbon dioxide levels, light intensity temperature and humidity. Currently used by the University of Melbourne, the Visualiser’s combination of graphing historical data with time-lapse photography allows more effective insights into your environments over time.

Geo-mapping and agricultural solutions

PaddockLink grew out of a collaboration with the Tasmanian businesses Farm Mapping Services and Circular Head Spreading Services. PaddockLink provides reliable and accurate paddock management by establishing a website with associated connections that is accessible to farmers and managed by a central business. It enables error-free online ordering of fertilizer or spray by property owners for each paddock, direct recording of spreader/sprayer data and maintenance of individual paddock histories.

The system relies on the advantage of both farmer and supplier viewing a farm map. Farm maps and other spatial data are presented on the website using Google Maps® and Google Earth® technologies via a free webpage. An accurate farm map is crucial for maximum reliability and to take advantage of all of the system’s benefits.

Online ordering and management and fulfilment solutions

We’ve developed a range online ordering, supply management and e-commerce fulfilment systems for our commercial clients.

A farm irrigation system allows parts to be ordered through a central office, with parts lists for jobs sent the tradespeople in the field, using mobile devices. Stock feed systems facilitating scheduling and management of supply chaines, tied into real time reporting of stock monitored by our omniSentinel® system. Our photography solutions have provided online ordering of school and event photography, allowing proofs to be viewed and ordered through an integrated e-commerce system.

Report Writing Solutions

The Cornerstone Report Writer is a program originally developed for dairy consultants to produce their client reports. It allows complex paragraph writing logic to utilise current and historical data to produce an accurate and grammatically correct report. In some cases it has cut down a 3-4hr report writing process to just minutes and by automating the data entry, we eliminate errors within the system.

By producing the report in a word processor, it allows you to customise the report after the automated generation. Our Report Writer can be further customised to suit businesses in other fields.

Fan Selection and Fan Engineering software

Within the international commercial fan industry, Cornerstone Solutions is sought after for our 15 year expertise in engineering solutions for optimising fan selections. Our products have provided interactive dashboards and product ranges matching customer’s calculations needs so administration, sales staff or end customers can order product without having to be an expert.

Our SMS Notify technology is a custom package developed for integration into a variety of solutions for our customers. A two way notification and confirmation service, your customer integration needs can include personalized SMS notifications sent to individual customers, with confirmations via reply SMS automatically tied back into online dashboards for your business.
